20 MA laying around
Funny how when you get interested in something you recognize them. I was driving along in Hanover, MD and caught that stern corner grill out of the corner of my eye....it was on a 20MA sitting with a number of other older boats. Sitting on a trailer, no engine or steering wheel, seemed in reasonable shape for a project boat and could probably be had for very little. I should have got the HIN but was headed to the airport in a hurry. Anyway....if anyone is close to the BWI airport, the boat was at 1268 Stoney Run Road. Did look like it would need a transom. If some one does go get it, you owe me a finder's beer.....

Re: 20 MA laying around
Did it look like the boat in my sig - light blue in color with a small t-top like structure? if so, it is actually a SF and the rig happens to belong to me. A few projects around the house are holding me up in getting it on the water, i have a motor (200HPDI), electronics (Furuno 582L and 1850D, Icom 205) and SeaStar etc etc....set to go on her. She will probably need a transom eventually, but we drilled her and while damp (what to you want for 20 years old) there was not weeping. Need to baseline the electronics system (batteries on up) then I will load on the motor and running gear. Hopefully the 200 will workout ok. Prev owner had a Suzi 140 on her and had no issues and that motor is only 75 lbs lighter. Very much looking forward to getting started on her.
Procured this last weekend - custom for the mid-80's 20SF on prev owner's boat:

Re: 20 MA laying around
Hey mbo....not trying to give your boat away. Glad someone has dibs....it looked like a boat that could be running easy enough. Hope you post some pics when you get her floating. Just saw it sitting out among the bunch of boats there and thought someone should be giving it some TLC.
