AAron, I am curious to hear why your using a Gill bracket? They provide no floation and make the weight of the motors even heavier, hence the stern drops and wet toe's. I had one on my Seavette when I bought it.
The other thing to think about is rerouting the deck drains threw the transom instread of threw the bottom of the hull. I can't say for the 25's, but the big drain problem boats were the 20's. A floation bracket would surely set you right as rain.

the bracket that i have is a gil drive which does add flotation as it is hollow.
