I found a 1986 23 cc for sale. Who built this boat? I want a Seacraft but I don't want a project. I read about bad floors and transoms on a regular basis. Are all of these boats subject to this or are some years better than others?

It doesnt matter if it was potter built or tracker built, most 20 year old boats are due for some type of major work, transom, floors, tanks, and so on. Age is always a factor. Les

Here is the recycled list of years and who built them below. An 86 would be a pre-Tracker hull. If the boat has not been abused, the transom and deck should be very usable. The quality on the 1986 should be excellent. I have an 18 SF Tracker and it still floats, decks are solid, and transom has not one stress crack. Good luck.
