You definitely want the Bravo 3 ! The performance is perfect. There was one for sale around here, at a mercruiser dealer, w/ 15 hours on it for a really good price ( Long Island ). As for the props - I got mine for a one time deal for $600.

You may also want to consider the Volvo 5.7L OSI with the XDP composite drive. Its a really good seller for us...

Who was that price from...??? I bought thru www.go-fast.com and the price difference on a B-I vs B-III was about $400 on a "package". That $13k price sounds like the 350MAG Horizon, which is the fresh water cooled version.....

Yeah thats what i thought bayouboy.I didn't have a chance to talk to him as he was at a mercury seminar.From what i see on most competitive sites,the price is as you say only a few hundred dollars difference.
I'm going to get in touch with him after the holidays to discuss it,it may be as you said about the fresh water cooling.
This guy is a local boat dealer,who i trust,and has a good reputation with the local boating community.They started small twenty years ago,and although bigger now,they still have excellent customer service.
I don't mind spending a little more to give to a local guy,but i can't if it's that much of a difference.
Hopefully there's a reason,maybe it's a horizon setup.

That was about the price of the Horizon package I ordered from www.go-fast.com Their site has the list prices but they do much better; the Horizon package list was $18k but actual price was $13k. They drop shipped it locally on a single pallet. It's a very nice package to install.
