Default Re: Transom glass thickness

the outer glass skin is flimsy without the core (obviously). initially i though of adding 1 mat followed by a 1708. (mat - niaxial - mat - core). should i add 2 layers of 1708?

That's exactly what I did. After making the fillets and then glassing a layer of mat and 1708 it was very stiff.
