Default Pop Up Cleat Question

I have a 2000 SC21- does anybody know what size the bow pop up cleat is ? I think its 4.5" but not sure- my boat is stored for the winter and I have not been able to get in to see for myself- of course, I called the very helpfull folks at the SeaCraft plant in NC and they couldn't help me out ! Can you believe that ? They suck so bad its not funny.

I installed a 10" on the bow and 8" on the spring. Not sure about the 2000 model.

I'm pretty sure it is a 6". SeaCraft part number 04B-5930.

Unless it changed between then and now.

Who exactly did you speak with at the factory?

I own a 2000 23 foot sea craft and mine has a 6 inch pop up bow cleat. I am assuming they used the same on the 21 for the same year............... hope that helps.

I spoke with the "customer service" woman who couldn't get off the phone fast enough- she was really nasty and told me that they work with serial numbers only- so I said you mean to tell me there is nobody at SeaCraft that off the top of their heads could tell me the size of a bow cleat on a year 2000 21 ft SeaCraft ? And she says nope and hangs up !

Thanks guys- I'll have time this weekend to get down to the boat and measure for sure- I'm adding spring line cleats and I wanted to match the bow size as the stern cleats are too big.

Yes I do.

Please email me as much as you remember about the conversation you had, and if you have it, the name of the person you spoke with. I would appreciate it.

Thank you.
