Well I'm not sure if it's the best how too but it is one man's how too. Remember I'm always open for suggestions. Will be working on the mold some more tonight.

Excellent work Strick.......That motor isn't a 1996 by any chance? I agree with the how-to comment.

Strick, I think if we took a vote and send the collection plate around, we could buy a web cam and have streaming video while you work.
What-a ya think guys and girls, (we have to remember we have Darlene "Virgin Islander" with us now)
Lets send Strick a web cam!!!!!!

Strick - I can set that up. We've got a few of them here for surveillance in Student Housing. One of them is focused right on the Pool in a freshman dorm . . . (for liability/safety reasons).

Yes the motor is a 1996. It's the one tim was telling you about. I'd rather have put a Suzuki 4 stroke on her but right now I have to be practical. I still have all the rigging from my last motor.

All you would see is a bunch of head scratching....it would be boring.

Mold with recesssed areas for future access hatches. It is waxed and ready for lay up. The radius's were made using modeling compounds from the local craft's store. It's not perfect but it dosent need to be.

I noticed in the shots where you had it on the boat that the stern edge mold board was against the transom.....so you did allow for that in the spacing to the front of the cap so you can slide it back the thickness of the glass???

Good to see that motor getting used! Remember the paper fuel pump guts rot out on that motor. Easy, cheap change-out.
