Lets get everyone we can. I can do Anclote key, or perhaps Ft. DeSoto. How about late March during Spring Break or after Memorial Day.

Anclote is too far north to tow my SC with my little Volvo XC90. I already blew my motor once!!!!!!! DeSoto or I can tow up my 17' Montauk.

Aaagghhh Jees, Brian, "Classic SeaCraft" gathering,
leave the Whaler home.
OK, you bring the Whaler and I'll bring the Tin Can. NOT!!
I think Ft Desoto would be great. Good ramp, parking, camping, etc, etc. I might even pack the tent and camp out
for the night. This could be, No it will be a fun weekend.

I just got off the phone with Ft Desoto,
They suggest that we all make our own reservations,
those that are wanting to camp. They have no group camping area. No problem with the boats or launching. They also suggested to pick a date ASAP, and check back with them for a count of how many will want to camp as not to have anyone left out. April and May are good times. We could have a
cookout the first night for all that are there. Lets pick a
date that would be good for as many as possible to come.

I agree it would help the travelers to be able to stay, I am very familar with the campground- on the map the area marked boat channel all have deep water along the seawall there and nearest the point is best, there is no water at any other sites- the front is a flat that will go almost dry at low for a couple hundred feet.We can check online for availiblity on some weekends in that time frame(I'll try). We have a camper that I can bring over with a frig- they allow 2 tents per site as well. So lets check for site avail. first then try the dates on everybody.

I just checked online and the first waterfront site on a weekend I found was 6/9 and 6/16, we can use some interior sites as long as we have access to 1 or 2 waterfront sites for the boats. The sites we need are 168 thru 194, there is plenty of room for extra boats along there but we need at least 1 site or we are docking bunch of boats in front somebodys else's site. They do hold back some but sounds like we may consider Shell Island and just use the showers and bathrooms at the camground, its only 1 night. NoBones and Snookerd if you want to call me my cell is 813 992 5794, might be easier.

I'm game for camping too. 6/10 thru 6/17 is out for me. Spending a week in Jupiter (FL)-bringing the 18 or 23 over to the east coast.
