The Airmar B-60 has a tilted transducer element in the unit. You buy the specific model based on the dead rise of the hull - they make different degrees of tilt for different hull dead rises. That's the great thing about the B-60.. I love mine - works great at all speeds. Although as mentioned the hole cutting process is a bit nerve racking..
