Default Re: Emblem-CNC UPDATE!!!!!!!

I met with Brian from the SS shop today & picked up a sample. As you can see, it looks great!

The first run, using 1/8" SS did not 'cleanly' cut the "CLASSIC", too thick of a metal for such thin lettering. Not giving up, he tried with 1/16" and it worked! So that's the way to go. (and it is strong)

Going with a thinner SS, we can afford the #316 stainless. It was originally what I wanted, but not at twice the price on the 1/8". I know we're all rich, but felt $110 PER emblem was a bit too steep. And I know you all know, how much better #316 SS is and how it will be more fitting to put on our classic boats that will last for another 30-40 years! (these emblems will last too)

THE PRICE REMAINS THE SAME, and we're using 1/16" #316 SS.

I hope no one is in a hurry for these, as #316 mirrored by the sheet, is a special order and will take approx. 3 weeks for delivery & the production run. But as soon as it comes in, Brian is giving it priority.

I know we're all anxious, but I believe it'll be worth it in the end....and as always, anyone is welcomed to change their order due to the changes mentioned here.
