Default 62 Racer - New Home

The 1962 Raceboat now sits in our driveway!
Many thanks to Ben for allowing us the opportunity to have & restore her. He did a great job of cleaning her up.
Thank you Ben!

A complete inspection will follow in the coming days. Knowing that she has seen 'better days', she still looks beautiful!
Here as some pictures of how she's sitting right now.

Gives new meaning to the term "full circle". Great looking boat. Best of luck with it. It would be really cool to ride with Mr. Mosley on that boat, one time. Hell I'd be honored to have him ride on my 67 19'.

Good luck ..keep us posted

65Bowrider does have quite a find there! I had the privilege of getting a peek at the racer on Sun.. Thanks for the hospitality guys........That boat re-defines the term "Classic SeaCraft"

Mr. Mosley has seen this boat several times in the past. Obviousely, first when he built it. The last time was probably in the early '80's. I had the boat at the Matheson Hammocks boat ramp in Miami. Mr. Mosely was at the boat ramp, saw the boat and came over an introduced himself. I knew who he was and remarked that I thought this boat had a better design (higher freeboard, deeper V, better lines) than the new boats. I am extremely delighted to see the boat is going to survive. Many thanks to everyone who has helped and most of all to Carla.

There is another 21 like that in ft. lauderdale that was up for sale about a year ago. I talked to the owner briefly about it and told him to put it on csc to sell it. The boat is still there so if anyone is interested I can see if he still wants to sell

Cliff,

So delightful to see your post and hear a 'little' of the history...would love to hear more.

I do feel very privledged to have her and look forward to restoring her, hoping I'll have lots of input and support from this site.

Ryan....awesome that you know of another 21 footer! I do hope someone from this site steps up and wants her too!
