Re: SeaCraft Fest RSVP
Sounds like a cluster, they sound like they'll be lucky to see another whaler in 2 days we're much better organized

Re: SeaCraft Fest RSVP
Went down to the island today doing some recon and found the north end to ruff to anchor with winds 15 out of the northeast. The west side I found out you can camp south to the palm trees from some FWC buddies i met out there. Also on Sat is some big, dead, ex-guide, tourny that will make the park boat ramp even more crowded. The water temp was 68... I'm watching the wind this week.

I'm still working on getting down there; looks like 50% chance I'll get there, but I'm trying!

Re: SeaCraft Fest RSVP
NE is the only real bad direction follwed by N and NW and ya its been blowing a ton, if need be we can move around the corner but we'll just have wait and see. I can't believe we still have 15 to 20 almost everyday in April but its looks to be stablizing this week coming, don't see any more big fronts.
Looking Good: Tuesday Northeast winds around 10 knots. Seas 2 to 3 feet. Bay and inland waters a moderate chop. Wednesday East winds 5 to 10 knots. Seas 2 to 3 feet. Bay and inland waters a moderate chop.

Re: SeaCraft Fest RSVP
ESD - sign me up, just one guy. Based on all the work you've put into this deal it should be a great event! Made a reservation at the Ramada for Friday & Sat night so will have to bum a ride from somebody over to the island. Took Carla and Skip for ride yesterday to give them a feel for the new E-tec motor they're getting tomorrow, and Carla talked me into going! I didn't realize the Moesly's would be there and would love to meet them.
Would love to trailer my Seafari over there and anchor off the beach! It's real comfortable for that and have spent many nights on it, but my trailer needs some work and new tires however, so will just do recon this year for a future trip in case you put this on again sometime! Thanks again for taking the initiative to pull this deal together. I'm sure there will be a lot of grateful folks when it's all over! Denny Bushnell e-mail: dkb@engineer.com cl:561-951-9058

Bushwacker -
Not to steal this thread, but I would love to hear your thoughts on Seafari performance with the bracket, especially if you have before and after bracket install experience.... maybe open something up under Performance ? Thanks Bill |
