I just removed my windshield as well. The heat gun method works well for removal of the gasket. I also purchased a automotive windshield removal tool which helps cut the two sided tape away from the glass. A long carpet cutting blade was helpful as well.

NOW

installation of the new window and alignment of the glass with the gasket may be a bigger challenge. I am hoping to try and install the new windows within a few weeks. Any tips would be helpful and I will post my tips as well.
