Default Powerboat Reports going AWAY??

Not sure how many others here subscribe to Powerboat Reports but I just got a notice in the mail yesterday stating that "The May 2007 issue will be the last issue published"

What a bummer - I really enjoy their non-bias reviews of marine products.

Yeah, me too. The balance of the subscription will go towards a Boating Magazine subscription so now I have 2 subscriptions to Boating magazine!

You should get a postcard in the mail with a number that you can call to cancel the subscription to Boating and just get a refund if you prefer.

It appears that Belvoir Media Group LLC -
Belvoir Media
publisher of "Powerboat Reports" is going to continue publishing "Practical Sailor" -
PBR and PS share a bunch of their reviews on electronics, bilge pumps, etc. etc. - Might have to subscribe to Practical Sailor to stay up to date.. I won't be reading (or needing) the reviews they have on things like new North sails, or new wind generators..

If they'd dumped the Powerboat Reports subscriptions to Practical Sailor I would have kept it rather than cancelling the Boating subscription. I'll sign up with Practical Sailor after I move.
