Default Took out new old boat/Went fishing in Raritan Bay

Well I finally took the new old rig for a real test spin.

Plenty of power (twin 200's). I definately need to get the engines raised up a notch or two (it was porpoising?).

Caught tons of 5 to 10 pound bluefish and a couple of decent striped bass.

Congradulations with the new ride! Been reading up on the bass bite. Wish I could fly in for some hometown fishing. Surf would be good enough. Miss that for sure. Part II.

Apparently, the hot bass bite is now at Roamer Shoal (about a 1/2 mile east of the light house) on clams.

All the keeper bass you could want.
