Bill, It booms and shakes for a good 10 minutes after launch. Almost like an ole Chevy or Ford backfiring.
The windows rattle after about 1 minute after take off. It was not dark for this launch but the one they sent up in December (I think) lit up the sky like day light. It is awesome, I have watched just about every launch since I was a kid growing up in Daytona. The cool thing is most of my friends work at the Cape and on the Shuttle. Ken

Thats very cool being able to watch that from your house!! Looks like you have a nice sized piece of property. Your own little paradise
![]() I have a canal that runs along my property line and theres lots of striped bass in it. It's so easy to catch fish in it thats it's almost embarrassing. Heck even Bigshrimpin caught a couple the other day ![]() strick

Those pictures of the space shuttle going up reminds me of watching an Apolo launch, at night launch, from the roof of a college dorm in Columbia, SC.
The ones shown here look like you could almost reach and grab it. How cool is that! Thanks for showing them to us NoBones.
