Default Re: Just bought a 1973 18SF

Jose-
The 18SF was a ocean/bay boat before term was invented. Drawing just over 12 inches and being able to cut through decent size waves makes it an incredible ride. The 18SF ran well and has served me nicely. I have been to the Keys 3 times with the boat and off Jupiter Inlet last week. I have been off close to 20 miles and wouldn't hesitate to go farther on the right day. I have a bigger family now and want to venture into the Abacos with the 23SF. If I could swing it, I would keep the 18SF.
