Default How far to lift console to remove tank hatch cover

Can`t seem to find a replacement sooo I guess I`ll recore the fractured tank cover. I don`t have a lot of slack in most of the wiring and am hoping to avoid a complete disconnect. Please advise.
Thx G.F.S.

You will have to remove the screws that hold down the CC and then remove the screws that hold the deck down. If you elevate the CC approx 4” after removing the screws you should be able to slide it out the back after you remove the leaning post as well. You could prop up the CC with 4”x 4” blocks on both sides.

That`s what I was hoping to hear. I had a roofing accident and slaughtered my heels and ankles. Walking ok but have constant pain. I recently bought my new friend and am fixing/rigging it the way I want it. I figured out how to raise goggle eyes in captivity and am starting a live bait buis. I liked this set up cuz it has the pedestal seats. I found a 40 gal livewell this weekend and plan to put it under the cut down seats and raise my pegs up 8 " s so I can sit while running and still look out for unsuspecting telephone poles. My 2 forward hatches failed due to screws in the core. I recored them w 1 layer biax under and 2 over the plywood + gelcoat. My tank cover is about 1/8 th " lower than the deck. Can I extend the biax to the edge of the cover and make up the difference? I`m adding about 300 lbs to this area and it`s gotta be strong.

Thanks to all who created and maintain this site; everyone`s
been helpful and patient with this newbie. What a sweet ride!
