April can be windy Peter, May its pretty settled down and the big dolphin run is on, at least the end of April. Great area though, inshore and offshore and nice snorkeling sites close.

I am def. interested. Would you be able to send me some pics of the place. My boat is getting floor redone, should be done by the end of this month. Maybe interested in Aug.. My grandfather owned a place in key colony, but sold it unfortunatly. Would love to visit it again.

We went to Grassy Key 2 years ago (right down the street).

Great reefs inshore for snorkeling. The kids loved it. Also, the fishing was pretty good. I am ready.

I agree with EggSuckinDog about April, it is windy, and the biggest dolphin are late April and May. I ussually end up going in April no matter what.
I have pics and a description of the house and area at this web site, if interested, contact me and I'll reduce the rates for Seacraft folks www.vrbo.com/24981.
Thanks, Peter

I stayed @ KCB in 04 for a week in 1/2 a duplex. Very nice place. I hooked a blue marlin 17 miles off in the 18SF. My son accidentally caught a FL lobster in his cast net right in the canal behind the house

Sorry about the period thing!
The first two weeks of July starting July 7 are available at the reduced price of $950.00 per week, plus applicable city taxes.

Just spent a week at the house, yellowtail fishing has been HOT with large 'tails and mutton snappers frequently caught in the chum line. Offshore, schoolie dolphins are a hit and miss with a lot of weed lines being empty, I know 'cause we had bluewater spear divers checking them to 12 miles out. Some 20lb dolphins were caught at the hump (26 miles out).

We did have a good day of spearfishing with 2 large mackarels, 30" grouper, 2 mutton and a large hogfish shot in 54' of water

Whats wrong this year, the dolphion fishing sucked when I was in KCB this past May. 3 trips I caught one schoolie. Even the tournament was slow.
