stuart guys? what do you use to pull you boat

We use a 2004 F150 2 wheel drive with no problems. I used it to pull 27 World Cat's around the state when I worked for them just fine.

capt chuck have you ever used the ramps at billy graham park in hobe sound. this is where i put in alot cause sandsprit is always so packed.

botapeje i wnet and lookat one of them last night but the price tag was a lil high for me nice truck just a lil far out of my ball park.

wave lenght thanks for the comment i sat in a 05 150 last ngith and was comfortable in it. just concerened about the traction not being at all for wheels. your ramps overin yankeetown are they very steep. just asking so i can get a better idea of a comparsion.

Yes, but only with a small boat. I have never launched my 23' there.

ok i was just wondering if you had launched yours there.

also is there anybody on the site that has a red dodge 1500 4 door cause i saw one going down the road the other day and it was pulling a seacraft.

I pull mine with a Jeep - every 100 engine hours. Otherwise it's on the lift.

I use Biily Gram and sandsprint all the time.Both ramps are excellent. I tow my 1973 23' seacraft with a f-150 and have a floaton trailer and never have any problems. when we use billygram we stop on the way to the inlet and cast around the mangroves and catch a snook now and then,the kids dig it. I have trailered the NoBones all over the state in the past
17 years... 1988 Jeep Grand Wagooner, 1990 Dodge Ram Charger, 1992 3/4 Ton Suburban, 1999 1/2 Ton Dodge Ram
(with after market Posi) Have launched at every conceivable ramp all over the state with no problems with any of the above vehicles. If you set your trailer up right you should not have any problems. Even the sand ramp at Channel 2 in the Keys at MM 76. I have a Continental tandem axle trailer with 8 12 inch Stoltz keel rollers and 8 donut Stoltz rollers at the stern and bow chock bunks. I also rigged the trailer with a Power Winch 912 with a stainless cable from the switch to the end of the trailer. And a 12 inch wide piece of rough sawn cedar walk board the length of the trailer. On the shafts of the rollers I drilled out the centers and added zirc fittings to be able to grease the rollers. I wanted a 1 man operation to launch and load. If you want pics, "Ken-Do", (New name for the Sceptre) just let me know. When I launch, the back wheels of the trailer only have to be wet to the hubs.

no bones i have a float on trailer with 2 wood bunks and the front hoop thats it . i cant wench it if i wanted to so i have to back the trailer in a good ways. i have thought about adding a wench to the front to make it so i dont have to go down as far and doing away with the front hoop asmbly.

I have a friend that has a 21 RayLiner (Sea Ray) Thats cause
he calls my boat a "Sea Tracker"

He converted his Float-On to a roller trailer. he added
two cross members and installed the 12 inch Stoltz rollers
it works as a float on or a winch up trailer. It works great. On good ramps it works as a drive-on and on the shallow ramps he can power winch it up.
Just my 2 cents worth..
