Default Nasty Weather

Our local forcaster just reported 80knt winds and 40 - 50' seas of the N. E. coast. Just can't imagine waves that tall. Hope everyones safely in port. Y'all take care up there.

Had nasty mix bag -- freezing rain, snow and gushing winds.
Temp in the 25 degree tonight. eerrrrrr. Roads full or sand and salt and frozen slush at night.--must I say any more.

sea conditions at Mavericks yesterday:

S WIND 35 TO 45 KT WITH GUSTS TO 55 KT...EASING TO 20 TO 30 KT WITH GUSTS TO 40 KT AFTER MIDNIGHT. COMBINED SEAS 23 TO 27 FT AT 12 SECONDS. '

Surfline.com reporting conditions off of Washington state with 34-48' surf.

correct me if I'm wrong ,thats the equivalant of 7's @ about 2.5 seconds. Talk about square

hmmm ..Thats why I live in South Florida! We had a "cold Front" come through and it got down to a very chilly 58.....

Yeah! I live in N Central Florida, the low yesterday morning was 37, the high was 76, today the low was 45, the high was 80, wind 250 degrees at 8-10kts, seas 1-3' in the Gulf, with a light to moderate chop
And the Gags are bitin' in 20'-30' of water.
