Yup, die-hard Clemson fan (only a sticker for all you Gamecock fans), but even bigger College Football Fan in general. Never been to the Swamp, I am sure it is one neat place to watch a game!

The scuppers were on the boat prior to the update modifications. They are very handy.

The port side well has a thumb size drainhole that leads to the center of the hull and has forward access below the floor, it is not set up as a bait well. The starboard well has a 3/4" pipe with valve the comes up through the bottom and has a drain through the rear transom. It is obvious that the prior owner had it set up as a bait well, but I never used it or tested the valve (unfortunately, the only fishing pole I own has a Disney princess on the reel and a rubber duck for bait - my daughter likes to cast).

The jack plate does move the large engine back about 12 inches, so it does sit a bit heavy in the water. The true benefit of the plate is ther versatility it allows to fine toon the boat while under power, a trade-off that I have been very happy with.

Regards,
Pete
