Last week I bought some Scrimmed and Scored sheets to repair my front deck with...which side faces the sky(scrimmed or the scored)?

Rookie question I know

It would depend on what material you are using to bond it to the lower skin. If you are using a thin runny material scored side down will leave voids or air pockets. If you are using very thick it won't, and it will give you a smoother surface topside to work with if you are not going to re-use the top skin you pulled off. It also depends on the crown if it is a convex steep crown you may not be able to go scored side down.

Hey I.T.

Had a thought that may save lots of time in the long run.
How about making a half pipe with ends and putting the hull in it and covered w/ HDPE then fill the void w/ great stuff foam to support it when taking it apart. Might wanna run this by Strick et al. This might eliminate sag and cap allignment issues.

I think so Scrim up.

Check list.

The crown is very gentle, the old skin pops right into place, and the top skin should be able to be reused.
