Trayder I got rid of it. never to be seen again. good ridence. I have had 12 yamahas since 1994 and never spent a dime on any of them. I spent $1600 on that god for saken motor in one year. I got decent money for it and now I am looking for a 140 suzuki. I have a question for you does the suzuki mounting bolt pattern like a mercury? I a trying to figure out if I want to fill the holes or not.

Same bolt pattern. Standard BIA bolt pattern.

It's amazing to me how Mercury can make the most dependable outboard on the water in the 1.5 liter I3 Optimax motors (75, 90, 115), and some of the most UNdependable motors in the 2.5 liter V6 Optimax motors (135, 150, 175). If you look up the technical service bulletins for each, it's an amazing contrast. The service bulletins binder for the 1.5L motors is under 15 pages, the 2.5L is over 200 pages.
