What boat to you have? If you have a 20cc, there is a big debate on how it affects the balance. BE SURE YOU GET A BRACKET WITH MAXIMUM FLOATATION. Let me say that again. MAXIMUM FLOATATION!!

I would suggest a Hermco fiberglass bracket. It has been well documented that this bracket performs very well on Seacrafts.
