Default Boat Trailer Tires

I'm shopping for tires for my 23' tandem axle galv. trailer. I now have 205 75 14 bias and am looking at same size Maxxis radials. Anybody have experience with this brand?? What size (capacity) does your 23' trailer have?? I bought Goodyear Marathons for my last trailer but I understand their quality has gone bye-bye. I've read good things about Maxxis but did notice they were "made in Indonesia".

The maxis are on my trailer also, they are fine, have made several 6 hr trips to the keys, and trailer the boat all the time. 4000LB boat tandem axle trailer with leave springs.

Nearly all the rubber in the world comes from that area (we certainly don't grow it here).

Some of my Shimano reels are made in Malaysia, most everything in stores is made in China. We've done a great job of outsourcing nearly everything. I guess we still make fries and burgers but the list is getting a lot shorter of things made in USA.

I agree!!! My experience with the Marathon's was great but they were bought before they outsourced to China. Everything I've read since has been negative. Thanks for the comments!!

A main contribution to our current recession. I have Marathon load range D on a single axel trailer which are rated at 1780# each. No problems yet.
