Default Re: Fuel gage/sender problems

Last weekend I pulled the sending unit on my Grady-White and found that it was mounted backwards so the float was hitting the back of the tank. The wiring was corroded so the gauge wasn't functioning, but I can only imagine that the gauge would have only read 1/3 full at best.
