motor height

I raised the motor two holes. The picture shows a 2 x 4 held along the flat of the hull. Any feedback on the height?
The other picture is my new favorite tool when sanding, filling, sanding, filling, sanding 5 coats of Interprotect and 2 coats of Ablative. I'm never working on the bottom in the driveaway again.

Looks perfect! You might be able to go a little higher, but that is a good place to start.

Hey there Stoney.

We had some great togging late last year off of LBI.

I raised my engines two holes and it ended up being up one hole too many. What a pain in the a__.

I just got them lowered one hole and will be splashing her this coming weekend. See you out there.

That looks pretty good, you should notice quite a difference if it was that low.

Raising and lowering the motor is not a big deal with my new favorite tool the overhead cranes!
I'll be doing the shakedown cruises and installing my new electronics down here in Elkton on the upper Chesapeake bay. Now that I finally have the hull finished from the soda blasting etc, I'm way behind schedule. It looks like I missed the fishing on the flats while I was doing my sanding, filling painting 7 coats!
I'll be in Toms River in time for the arrival of the bunker and Bass. Are you fishing Barnegat or Raritan bay?

Here are my height adjusters for the 225's. Replaced one of the 2 jackplates last week. Hopefully a bit easier to find the sweet spot ...............
