Default Anyone know the first year the 32' was built.

I have been on the market for these boats for a while and I have just been wondering when did the 32 first come out. Does anyone have a preference over a 31 fountain or a 32 seacraft. Just wondering. Thanks

This is a Guess but I think the first year for the 32 SeaCraft was 2000?

The 31 Fountain is a well built boat that eats up a headsea like i have never seen before. I like the space on the 32 SeaCraft.

I have a-lot of hours on a 31 fountain, but have not been on a 32 SeaCraft so I can't directly compare the 2.

The Fountain 31 needs to be driven fast say 38MPH plus to get the best ride out of the boat in just about any conditions. If you are getting wet, just go faster and the ride will actually smoothen out and become dry. Out of all of the fountain fishboats this boat needs to be really driven and attention needs to be put on proper tabs and engine trim. You can drive the 32, 34, & 38 hulls like a fishboat, but the 31 needs to be driven like a speedboat.

If you like to get to where you are going fast & economical the Fountain is the boat for you. But you have to be able to take a good hit every once in while because you don't always land as well as you would like. The boat doesn't like to run under 30mph and won't really plane off. It will get terrible fuel economy running slow in rough water because you can't run on plane.

There are some great deals out there on 31 Fountains right now.
