Default Need Help...Please

There are 3 of us on this forum that have the Moesly 21 Seacrafts.

None of us has a windshield. I called American Marine to get a quote. Yipes $3500.

Now if we can have a 1000 of you
"SeacraftOphiliacs" looking for these dimensions on production boat windshields we might be able to come up with something that fits and at a reasonable price. Something with 3 pieces not unlike a Sceptre.

So when you are out and about take your tape measure and start measuring

Thanks in advance...

Width Front-76.5
Width Back-82(were the sides end)
Side-43

Thanks for the info. I will contact and see what they can do.

I really think if we check the new boats we may have better success. I have been looking at the Bayliners...they made so many of those that maybe something will be real close.

Go to Glen-L and do search for
Making a Molded Windshield for your Boat

I think this is what you are looking for and cost a lot less.

Terry (and Skip & Carla) - I saw this windshield the other day on a big (23-26') Shamrock that looks to be about same height as the one on the 21, although the sides are much longer than the original. (Very few modern windshields are as high as the original on the 21!) This one looks like the flat panels in front also open out like my Seafari which is a great feature for a Florida boat, but again is very rare on newer boats. Most new boats, if they have any ventilation provisions at all, just have little dinky side vents! All of these newer windshields appear to be of modular construction, so maybe you can find one similar to this one but with a center panel that folds over to provide the walk-thru feature.

The glen-l sight has a lot of information. I just don't know if I want to go the "plastic route". In Florida you are changing them out every 3 years or so.

Thanks and keep sending information. My bookmark list is 100 pages long.

I think a Bayliner is in my future
