Default 20' Sea Craft info

Thinking of getting a 70 something 20'. Couple questions....What years are potter hulls? What else besides the condition of stringers and the transom should I be weary of? In other words, do these potter hulls have any other quirks? One of the boats I am looking at has a 150 yamaha 4-stroke...does anyone have an idea what kind of fuel economy/speed this will offer? Thanks

Stringers are not an issue, they are big fiberglass boxes - soft spots in the floor and transom - checkout other sections on the construction on here and you will see what i mean on stringers. Not sure on the weight issue with a 4 stroke on a 20 - you must stay as light possible and 4 strokes aren't.
