I know that the SS Emblem's cost more then a decal,
but they really set you and your boat apart from
the stock standard look...
65Bowrider (Carla) did a fantastic job on this last
bunch she had made. The larger SS ones are equal in size
to the decal!!
Something to think about.

Yeah No Bones those SS are sweet, I'm saving my dimes to put one under the windshield. Been a little busy with painting the boat so that's next on the list. Kept finding things to paint, live well, boxes on & on!
Thanx Snookered, pix are coming, wife lost my camera! Phone camera pix stink. I'll borrow or buy a camera if it doesn't rain this weekend & I will take some pix in the sun and post em for sure.

I just received and installed decals from Etched Impressions in Stuart, FL. They came out awesome...black with white outline; they really pop against my aqua colored hullsides, especially with some shiny new ss vents. I would definitely recommend using him. I think I paid around $45 for the pair, mailed to my door. And I believe I got his info from this site at some point. Check out etchedimpressions.com....he even has a SeaCraft section on the website.

Finally finished the paint job and teak with Signature Finish and Honey Teak, put everything back together which took longer than the painting!
It went pretty smooth, took some getting used to the amount of paint to put on with the roller method to not get lap lines. The fine line tape lifted when I did the non-skid in some places. But I fixed it after. I would reccommend it for a DIY that doesn't want to spray. Just wear a gas mask!
Any way here's some pix, I feel like I got a new boat! Maybe that will keep me from looking for another for a while!

It looks like a new boat. Very clean. My dad has the same 18 era(1987) as yours. Nice bolster cushions on the sides.

Thanks Snookered,
My wife & I made the bolsters, best thing I did to the boat!
If I had more time I could have pleated 'em, but my knees don't care what they look like!
Here's a before pic. if anybody's interested.

Hey, your 18 looks great. I also have a 1987 CSY 18'. I painted my deck this past fall. You are right about the fumes. They are wicked and I used masks. I am going to redo my teak again soon. People tell me to change over to starboard, but I still love the teak look. Nice job!

Please post your hull ID...it is my understanding that CSY built the 23' & 27' hulls only for one year and it was not 1987
