Nice......where did the hinges come from.........I like them!
Question about your tabs....mounted to the inside like that will you get the same performance as mounted within 3-4 inches of the chine?
Anyone tries the Volvo Penta tab system. With my limited space under the bracket the look to be a possible nice fit as I dont want to cut holes in the bracket.

Check with Bennett, but I think the further outboard the tabs are mounted the better - you'll get more rolling moment for a given deflection, and less deflection = less drag = more mpg! Nice resto, but if you're gonna spend much time at anchor with that single bow cleat, I'd say you need some bow chocks to prevent line chafe!

Great job on the boat. I like the detail on the boat and it does make a difference on the finished product. I know because I am doing the same on my 1978 Master Angler, which is almost done....soon, I will be able to go to the sand bar in Elliot Key and dive some of my favorite spots. Do you go out of Bayfront park in Homestead?

See you out there
