Default Tarpon Watching

Flip and I went fishing Friday and went to birds diving off Yankeetown thinking jacks and mackerel. What we found was balls of bait like you see on TV when the billfish circle the bait in a tight ball then crash into it. Much to our surprise it was tarpon making the glass minnows pack into tight balls and then they would swim slowly into the ball with their mouths open. This happened under the boat several times before I got the camera out.
