If your aluminum has pitting from salt water environment Chloride corrosion you must first get ALL of the corrosion off before you give it the chemical wash or It will not protect your work and the paint will bubble in approx 6 months. If you just try to epoxy over the top and then paint it will bubble as well. You must get all corrosion off first then the two part chemical wash then a coat of epoxy then primer then paint. If not you are wasting your time “if there is Corrosion” on the aluminum trust me on this on.
