you doing the work or is someone else? Might make a big difference in how people respond. As a reference point, I just had mine shot with Awlgrip cockpit, topsides, console and hullsides. 4 coast primer, 4 coats paint will be roughly $6K.

Hi Ron;
Now this goes back to 2002 when I was getting quotes on my 23CC. I had people quoting from $4,500 to $6,000. I decided to do the role and tip method with Sterling 2 part paint. Cost me approx $1,000 for all the stuff plus Beer to keep me happy. I figured the worst that could happen is I would have to sand smooth the last coat and have a pro do the last coat again. It turned out looking pretty good. ![]() Fellow-Ship Just for the Grins ![]() |

Ron..I used Interlux enamel (3 coats) using the roll and tip method...came out good for my needs.....just like fellow ship... figured I could always sand down in future and have it shot if necessary but looks great for this type of application. I spend approx $75.00 for all including prep materials, brushing thinner, rollers, china bristle brush...could not seeing spending $1000.00 or above on paint..more than boat!!!.
