1972 and 1973 seafari's have a 4 digit HIN number on a sticker under the steering wheel. No stamps in the hull. HIN numbers will generally be state issued unless the state supports 4 digit HIN's on their titles (CA did . . . MA does not). Does this mean those Hulls will not have a "BIA Plate" I just pulled a 1973 or maybe a 74 home today. The Serial Number ends with 74. The owner has sent for a replacment, Registration and the boat sticker is valid to the end of this month. This is a 20' SF
