Default 20sf power ?

so i might pick up a 1969 20sf and get rid of the 18sf my questions is would the 2000 vmax 200hp 20inch shaft work on the 20sf or should i go with 25inch shaft or floation bracket? so dang confussed on what to do

I have 1973 20 sf with the original transom and im running a 20" merc. If the transom has not been raised, 20" motor is what u want. Or enclose the transom and go with the bracket!!
