Default how to glue a transom

i ordered my plywood for my transom today. i ordered 2 x 1" sheets of ab fir marine grade ply. i have a template cutout on the way for a full transom from a fellow csc member. just wondering how to glue the 2 together. i think i have it all down but im just curious, i wet out the two cutouts with resin, let them cure for about 20-25 min. then i used thickened resin(with cabosil) to glue them together. there is no layer of glass to apply between the two?

Check out Stricks post " Here we go again"
The first page.
Much easier than trying to explain it all over again.

That is the way I did it, and from reading other posts most of the CSC re builders do the same.
