Default New member of the Family

I just purhcased another Seacraft I picked up a 72 20 Seafari i/o in good condition. It even has an original Passenger seat that folds back with the stove, and sink underneath, and the original Porta Potti that flips over to extend the bed lol. I hope there aren't any Heirlooms from 72 still in it I guess one Seacraft is never enough.
Pics to follow of the restore process though the floor and transom is perfect just needs bottom scraped, some minor cosmetic, wiring etc. Looking at the stats for these they get over 5mpg when running good.
Can't wait!!!

I've already got a 23 Savage but couldn't pass up on the Seafari. I'll post pics next week. The Great thing is the Wifey loves the new lil boat as much as I do There is a Seavette for sale very very cheap nearby but I just don't have the time or room for 3

Did you look at the Seavette? I saw it advertised, and was curious. If I did not have the 21, the 'Vette would be my next choice.

Glad you picked it up Ryan. I had been watching it and wanted to go have a look. My kids would have me put away if I brought another boat home.

No I did not go look at the Seavette but it looked like a Super steal.
The Seafari I got had a newermotor but hadgone down for a couple of days due to high rains and no bilge, looking at the scum line on one side it looks like it rolled onto the port side and the engine did not get too wet. The blower is mounted right at valve cover level in the middle, and it works fine,as do all the guages controls lights etc, but the starter& alternator got wet and are toast. I flushed the motor out with tranny fluid, and some other Seceret engine restoring ingredients, and she turns over just fine now and has perfect compression. Should be fun, I think the Savage is Jealous though
BBH been fishing lately? We hit the RJ Thompsn a few weeks ago and shot some really nice AJ's and did great three weeks ago down in the keys
