Default trip to N. Myrtle/Myrtle

Any suggestions on where to stay if you are arriving by boat? I'm going to be coming from Carolina Beach with a friend and our wives the first week in OCT. Any suggestions as to where to stay/tie up , to be close to some good restaurants/entertainment would be appreciated. Is there somewhere on the ICW that 's good.I'm totally unfamilliar with the area.

When traveling thru on the yachts, I stay at Doc Holiday's

There's lots of stuff within walking distance.
