Stock market/banking sector insanity

All this investing stuff is foreign and complicated to me. I have been a county employee for the past 10 years plus a General Contractor (when there is work!!).I simply have a Roth IRA which I contribute to... plus employer contributes to FL State Retirement. Of course I am not getting rich quick now but hopefully I will have something when it comes time to retire in another 15 YEARS . I also have been listening to Dave Ramsey for the past 5 years and have been following his plan for finacial peace for about 3 years.
