Well boys and girls our gathering is upon us
once again…
Fortunately none of those that are attending will need
a GPS.

I have come up with a schedule to help with
allocating your time wisely.

Friday 10/31/2008

5:00 pm roll call
5:10 pm open beer and consume
5:30 pm resume meeting
5:35 pm recess
5:36 pm open beer and consume
6:00 pm extend recess
6:01 pm consume more beer start doing shots of Yukon Jack
8:00 pm adjourn meeting if we remember to do so…..
8:01 pm start happy hour
10:00 pm pack up because the park rangers kicked us all out….

All kidding aside anyone that is new to one of our gatherings
do not hesitate to come on over to site 185-186 and join the rest that
will be hanging out. At Long Point we had several that were at the
park and did not stop by….
The plan is bring enough food to have a potluck dinner with all.
I will be boiling jumbo shrimp again Friday and Sat night.
Bring folding chairs (a few extra if you can)
Saturday a lot of us plan to fish (I did say plan)
Even if you do not bring or come by SeaCraft stop by and say hello!!

With all this turmoil in our economy and politics you would have
to agree that a break is well deserved.

See ya next weekend, Ken

Ahh Ken, just one idea. Maybe at 5:09 am we could dip a nice steamed shrimp in my insane hot sauce! That ought to wake up the crews.

I have been catching stone crabs like mad off my dock with a regular crab trap baited with a dead mullet. If you have room bring one and you may be surprised. 7 stone crabs has been my best pull with a 2 day soak.

Ahhhhhh, the clock IS ticking till next Fri...........Shrimp, stone crabs, adult beverages, ect.. Hey just a note to help identify and get to know other folks(besides name tags)-wavelength had a great sign made up at his camp site @ Sebastian with his CSC member name, info on his boat, and his name. Those things are pretty cheap to have made. Note to self: Keep an eye on EggSuckinDog's promise to throw bats our way for Halloween(see earlier posting )

Toddslures, I just sent you a PM about your spot. I would love to grab it if possible and even pay you for it. It looks like we may have another couple showing up with us and they will tent camp.
Thanks,
Ryan

PM sent, Can't wait!!! Renee is super excited about it and even prepared the cushions in the Savage today. If anyone is bringing a smoker, I have lots of fresh hog and venison, and we were thinking about bringing lobster tails as well, if anyone will have a pot to boil them in.

Hello all,

Sad to say we can't make it, I've been informed by my boss that my presents is required thoughout the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show (which is the same weekend). We had site #174 (which is waterfront), I've canceled, so check with the rangers if anyone is interested in a waterfront site.

I've done plenty of boat shows, I'd much rather be at Fort DeSoto, but in these times, it's better to stay on the boss's good side.

Everyone have a great time! And check the photo forum for our new addition.

Lloyd
