How fast do you want to go? With twin 115's Etecs, it's estimated we'll do over 50mph ... Moesly raced with twin 100's and would go over 55 in the 21 with lots of fuel aboard for the ocean races. The 21 was designed to be a "mean racing machine"...
The wide spread mountings of the engines is to position them behind the flat panels rather than a step ... better traction with less water turbulence. BTW, the steps on the 21 are 3", great for slicing thru the water.

Frank, these are great vintage photos. Thank you for sharing.

You can always spot a seacraft with the american flag on the side of the boat.

Wow-Major eye candy
I guess the color YELLOW has always been popular(1st picture). It reminds me of the number of yellow boats @ our last gathering

That blue no. 40 looks wicked - is that an extreme bow flare or just the perspective. Nice collection. Thanks for the feedback on the Bay MFG products, too. Under 5 Franklins for my I-6...

Gilly, That bow flare really exists. Its on the stock Boats.
They cut the bow down on the 23, so they don't exist on that hull. It does on the production 21.
