Gilly, That bow flare really exists. Its on the stock Boats.
They cut the bow down on the 23, so they don't exist on that hull. It does on the production 21.

Early race rules required raceboats to be stock boats ... so in the early 60's the production 21' was raced. Mid 60's, the race rules changed, and the sheer line of the 21 was cut down for sleeker race boats.

Sandy, our 21 is an early 60's raceboat, and a few years ago, a gentleman contacted Moesly as he had just acquired a raceboat built to specs in mid-late 60's. New owner was going to restore her for his personal use.
