Sounds like you are wanting to just use one scupper going out the center of the transom and two drain locations inside the boat. My thought on that is a big Maybe it would work and Maybe not. You would loose the straight line design that aids the scupper to open and let the water out, plus you could be just sloshing water from the port to starboard side of the boat if there isn’t enough pressure to plus it through the scupper, and if debree goes in you drain hole like a leaf from a tree you have no way to clear it like you could with a straight line directly out the back.
