What is the power on this boat? Any performance numbers?
Thanks,
BA
It is a 250 suzuki with a 16x20 suzi stainless prop. I generally cruise at about 4200 rpms and do roughly 28 knots. I dont have a fuel management system at the moment, but I think its around 2.5 mpg at this speed. it tops out at 5900-6000 doing 4142 knts.

The 2.7L omc's aren't too bad on fuel stock. 86 and 87 have many desirable features the big bore carbs, 2.7L heads and the bridgeport exhaust. If you bore the 2.7L out to 3.685 and add finger ports, use stock 1993 - newer pistons you have a beast. Bump up the compression, modify the rod slots and swap the intake you have 300+ hp motor without losing any bottom end.

My current powerhead is a stock 1979 v200 vertical reed merc, but I have a monster in the works.

Yeah, Ken's right.
Somebody emailed me the link to Nat's site and I thought the pic was pretty cool.
He had to do some work, but the boat's pretty sharp.
I still want a 20.
