I would highly recommend Nigel Calder's "Boatowner's Mechanical and Electrical Manual" about $32 at amazon.com and very likely available at your local public library. If those aren't an option PM me and I'll scan the chapter on bonding and galvanic corrosion and e-mail it to you. It's a must read, I think.

I think many would agree it's an indispensable book for any mariner's library. It definitely helped me with my rewiring. Good luck with the project and avoid taking shortcuts. Bad wiring can screw up your own boat as well as your neighbors.
