Yes, I assumed that was the case at an idle. I am really trying to get a comparison with others. In the past my high temp horn has gone off a couple of times while at an idle. I have had it serviced with new Tstats, and water pump so I am curious if it is in the proper range now.

I have not had it out long enough to know if it is still going to alarm.

Thanks for the info though. Hopefully someone running the same set up will chime in.
