I've been running Interstate's and have had very good luck with them.I still prefer the good old lead acid batteries,(but that's just me).
In my Tsunami,I'm running two 27 series Interstates,a Deep cycle(SRM-27B 180CCA),for all the electronics,Down riggers, kicker motor, etc,and a starting battery(27M-XHD 180CCA) for the main engine. Works well, for me,and they have stood behind their product.the place where I have always kept my boats is a dealer for them. In the two times in the last twenty years,I had a problem,he exchanged them without a question.

Since I work for Academy Sports up here at corporate in Katy Tx I get 25 % off stuff. They have the Stowaway brand batteries so I got a 1000 800 starting batt and a Dual purpose 730 575 connected with a Perko 4 way. Seems to do the trick. I can run my Stereo ( which I beefed up to 400 watts and a 10" sub, for the kids when we play on the fresh water) and livewell pretty much all day and start it back up on #1 and then charge #2 on the way home.. Then trickle charge em both over night..Works great.. I would not go off shore with out my 2 batts and my Johnson 4 hp kicker

I just replaced my 4 yr. olds with 2 Optima. They stay on a Guest 5/5 unless I'm running it.
